This was a recent job for a Brighton based Artist, who was truly a pleasure to work for. Sam wanted to clear the back of her stunning established Regency town house garden. She had an overgrown shrubbery and a shed on its last legs.
We demolished the shed, cleared the shrubs and raised the flower bed so that the edge could double as a garden seat. We then raised the area where the shed had stood and build a patio with a pathway and stairs leading to it. This opened the space out hugely and added an entire separate area to the garden.
Sam plans to grow vegetables and cutting flowers in the new border next spring. These will get quite high and offer seclusion when sitting on the patio relaxing.
